Nikola Rangelov (MicroMax), Kaloyan Balabanov (MiniMax), Maxim Dremin (JuniorMax) and Iliyan Yankov (SeniorMax) are the champions of 2024.

With the conclusion of the 6th round (13-15.09.24) came the end of the season with the National Championship of Bulgaria. In a tense race, the standings were point for point and every risk took the contenders away from the coveted title. Despite the administrative obstacles and the relocation of the competition, efforts and composure helped the pilots to achieve success and the winners were awarded. We also announce the prizes for the prize winners in each class, two of them took the ticket to this year's Rotax World Finals. The 25th anniversary edition will take place on October 19-26 at the Circuito Internazionale Napoli in Sarno, Italy.

Micro Max:

Nikola Rangelov is the new Champion among the youngest pilots.

It was a difficult start to the season for Nikola, and it didn't bode well for the decisive victory at the end. The accumulated experience of the past year and intensive training crowned the efforts with success. The battle for second and third place was contested. Dimitar Stankov finished the season with one race less, and the surprise of 2024 turned out to be the smallest driver in the championship, Daniel Putsov (147 points), who missed two out of six rounds in the championship due to injury and still finished only 10 points from third in the annual ranking.

Class winners:

1. Nikola Rangelov - 301 points.

2. Viktor Antov - 229 points.

3. Dimitar Stankov -157 points.

Mini Max:

Kaloyan Balabanov – uncompromising.

His claim to the championship title also came with a win in the first round of the National Championship. Confident, methodical, with five best time qualifiers in six starts, Kaloyan has gone 6 from 6 (six wins from six rounds) and is the driver with the most points for the 2024 season. So the title in one with the ticket to the World Finals in Italy they deservedly became his. Admirations for the only girl in the championship, Dilyana Stankova, who did not give way to the other pilots in the category of skill and speed. The third place was also contested, but Valentin Metodiev came close to winning it.

Class Winners:

1. Kaloyan Balabanov – 310 points.

2. Milen Bakhchevanov – 247 points.

3. Borislav Manev – 165 points.

Junior Max:

This class was undoubtedly a sensation for 2024. Petar Shingov (champion for 2023) declared his intentions for a second title, but the competition did not surrender. Until the last race, the points and classification places between the main contenders were minimal and the tension invariably accompanied every start. With an outstanding performance, Radoslav Vodenicharov made his way to the cherished goal, but the difference of six points, although negligible, gave him the second place. The champion in the category became Maxim Dremin, who participated in the Bulgarian championship for the first time. Consistent and unfailing, with the help of his trainer and mechanic, he won his well-deserved title, securing him a place in the Rotax Max International Trophy (RMCIT) at Le Mans in France next year.

Kalsa Winners:

1. Maxim Dremin – 236 points.

2. Radoslav Vodenicharov – 230 points.

3. Petar Shingov – 193 points.

Senior Max:

Among the pilots in the largest age group, Iliyan Yankov became the champion. The 15-year-old driver, who moved to the seniors after only one year of racing experience, clearly set his goals for the 2024 season. His elimination in the second round of the championship did not shake him in the following four, until the end of the season the first place was his. Thus he secured not only the title but also a ticket to the Rotax Max Challenge World Finals in Italy. Kaloyan Genov was the main competitor for the prize place at the end of the year, but he fell short. It should be noted that the greatest development was shown by Maxim Skenderov and Preslav Lukanov, who argued for the third place.

Class Winners:

1. Iliyan Yankov – 280 points.

2. Kaloyan Genov – 206 points.

3. Preslav Lukanov – 194 points.

Congratulations to the winners and good luck!
